The award-winning Voicebox Choir is accepting new vocalists this school year. The choir is comprised of 6-8 graders from the mid-peninsula who wish to sing in a dynamic, fun, well-established large group. If you want to learn to sing in a group, read sheet music and perform in some memorable concerts, THIS GROUP IS FOR YOU! No audition necessary. First 45 students, 6-8 grade, to sign up are in.

Voicebox Choir 2023-2024
We are pleased to announce the Voicebox Choir will be BACK IN ACTION in the 2023-2024 school year!! This choir was founded in 2007 and has been going strong (with the exception of one year off because of Covid) since then. The group, under Mrs. Sara Rangel-Murphy's direction, has blossomed from 17 students at its inception to over 70 at its strongest.
The Voicebox Choir would like to thank their host, St. Charles. This school year, the group will continue to meet in the music room at St. Charles School (where Mrs. Murphy teaches during the day).
The kids will continue to rehearse every Wednesday at St. Charles from 3:15pm-4:45pm. They will take part in a Winter Concert, a Spring Concert/Showcase, a Concert in the Park in San Carlos and hopefully a music festival in the Spring. Tuition will be $650 + $25 materials/t-shirt fee. This amounts to less than $20 a 90 min. session...a bargain in this area for sure.
Murphy Music Camps will not turn away any applicants due to financial hardship. Simply email and let us know what you need and we'll work with you.
